CHILDREN - Children 3 years & under sharing with 2 adults FREE of charge Bed and Breakfast. Children 4 - 11 years £12.00 Bed and Breakfast. Children 12-15 years £18.00 Bed and Breakfast. Children in own room half terms all year except Folk Week (7 nts only) and September when FULL TERMS will be charged.
ALL ROOMS - have private bath or shower - flat screen TV Freeview with radio - direct dial telephone - tea making facilities. We can only be responsible for valuables that have been receipted at reception.
ACTIVITIES - Indoor heated swimming pool - gym - putting green - secluded gardens - internet in the study WiiFi in public areas & Jubilee wing - In House Therapist (introductory offer when booking a treatment in advance of arrival £5 credit, limited numbers)
PARKING - All parking is at visitors' own risk. 25 spaces in our car park.
DINING - Bar Snacks 12-2pm & Sunday Roast (pre booked) in the Kent Bar- Packed Lunches - Victoria's Restaurant offering 4 course Table d'hotel menu with choices, - Children's Menu available [ PLEASE BOOK EARLY]
DOGS - A charge of £6.00 per day - (not allowed in Drawing Room, Bar or Dining Room, or in Superior rooms) There are rooms with easy access to outside which are very convenient. Dogs are only allowed on the main beach from October to April inclusive.
SMOKING - The Hotel now operates a non smoking policy throughout.
RESERVATION FEE - of £48.00 per person is requested upon making a reservation, this will be credited to the account. The reservation fee is NON REFUNDABLE unless re-let, our cancellation policy is to charge up to two thirds of the cost ,less vat.Please insure your holiday,details will be sent on confirmation. If cancelled 12 weeks in advance the deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of £10.
ACCESS The Royal Glen is a Grade A listed building, constructed on different levels, so there are steps. A platform lift has been installed in 2008 accessing 16 rooms.Ground floor rooms have access via outside. Please ask for our disability statement if required.The hotel has been welcoming guests for over 100 years, owned by the same family, Mrs Hilary Caldwell & Mrs Vivienne Bess & the loyal, friendly enthusiastic staff have a genuine wish to make your stay happy and comfortable.
